A new generation of calf housing

CalfOTel continues to develop in order to help livestock farmers meet current and future requirements in the areas of animal welfare, hygiene and ease of use.

We are proud to introduce two new products to our range of products, specially designed to comply with current and future legislation and regulations:

The CalfOTel Dual and the CalfOTel OpenTop Premium Duo Large

Both systems offer the option of initially housing calves individually and then easily converting to duo housing. These new products combine the strong features of our existing models with innovative solutions that fully comply with the latest and upcoming regulations.

CalfOTel Dual

An innovative calf igloo that grows with the calf. The Dual allows for both individual and duo housing, with a practical, stress-free transition. Calves can start out individually, with their own space in the calf housing and in the outside fence. Later, they can be easily and stress-free converted to duo housing by removing the partition fences in the hutch and fence. The partition fences can be easily stored and affixed to the outside of the hutch. The partition fences can be easily stored in the coop. The fence is foldable, just like our other igloos, making it quick and easy to muck out the fenced area and move the hutch.

Exterior surface area:: 2.2 m² per calf (2x)

CalfOTel OpenTop Premium Duo Large

The OpenTop Premium Duo Large offers extra space for calves. More space, more convenience. This new version offers 2.3 m² per calf, making it perfectly compliant with current and future regulations.

The pen has a very easy-to-maintain floor that can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly. This saves labour and ensures that calves can start fresh in clean housing.

The partition wall can be easily removed, allowing calves to move from individual to duo housing without stress. In addition, the OpenTop Premium Duo Large is equipped with a two-part locking gate, so that the caretaker can easily enter and leave the pen without disturbing the drinking calf.
