About this product

The XL-5 is the best follow-up after the individual housing. Calves can be kept in the XL-5 until about three months of age. It is perfect for working according to the all-in-all-out principle and by housing in small groups of four to five, the transition is easier for the calves. A small group also provides good overview for the caretaker.

The XL-5 is easy to move because of the hoisting rings. The bedding remains on the ground, making it quick to clean up. The XL-5 is also even easier to clean when it is held above the floor during cleaning, allowing for easy access to the underside.

The fence offers a spacious outdoor space and can be completed with a large selection of feeding accessories. One side fence has an access gate for easy access. The other side fence contains five removable bars, suitable for mounting one or two AdLibFeeders, or a large CombiFeeder XL. Both side fences are also suitable for mounting the MilkFeeder Group.

There are three different front fences available:
The front fence with self-closing locking system is ideal when the calves are required to be temporarily restrained on a regular basis. For example during bedding of the hutch. The calves are automatically locked when their head goes through the feed opening.

The front fences are standard equipped with a central bucket ring with five bucket rings. Optionally, a PE Feeding trough and a folding teatbucket holder can be mounted on it.
